Jury decides that threat of global warming justifies breaking the law - Climate Change, Environment - The Independent

The Criminal Damage Act of 1971 states that you can break down the door of a house if you need to get in to fight the fire. What on earth has made the jury in this case think that destroying private property in the name of “global warming” is the same thing? Seeing an actual fire destroy someone’s home is NOT the same thing as believing that someday the earth will warm up.
